About.
I’m Marissa, the lead designer here at Marissa Nans Design. After a decade in the entertainment industry, I’ve returned to my roots as an interior designer that’s based in Los Angeles, CA. I graduated in 2007 from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with a BFA in Interior Architecture & Design and a minor in Art History. I’m dedicated to giving clients spaces they never want to leave. I believe that interior design is meant to create wellness and provide emotional comfort and safety. To me, it goes beyond replicating trends and focuses more on how to make an individual feel moved by their environment; whether it’s a living space, work space, or a place to gather with friends.
